Product Updates — August 2025
August was all about focus.
We supercharged Google Maps Search Export with zip code targeting, per-score review counts, and brand-new data fields.
We killed duplicate billing so you only pay for unique results — nothing wasted.
And for the API nerds, our docs just leveled up with module-specific examples for every single scraper.
Big wins, big upgrades.
Let’s get into it.
Update #1 – Smarter Google Maps Search Export
Google Maps just got sharper.
We’ve added three powerful upgrades that give you way more control over targeting and cleaner data in your exports.
🎯 Target by Zipcode
Before, you could only aim at cities or neighborhoods.
Now you can drop in zip codes directly and pull results from only those areas.
Perfect if you’re running hyper-local campaigns or need laser focus on specific regions.
⭐ Review Count per Score
We used to just show total reviews.
Now you can see exactly how many 5-star, 4-star, 3-star, 2-star, and 1-star reviews each business has.

No more guessing — you’ll know if that 200-review business is loved or loathed.
📍 New Fields in Export File
By popular demand, we’ve added:
- Street Address
- Region

So instead of only getting the full address, city, and country, you now get a split view with more granular details.
Update #2 – Billing by Unique Results (No More Paying Twice)
Duplicates suck. So we killed them.
From now on, you’re only billed for unique results across your exports.
Inside Google Maps Search Export, you’ll now see:
- Total leads collected
- Unique leads extracted

That means you know exactly how many businesses were scraped, how many were duplicates, and how many you’re actually billed for.
Simple as that — no more paying twice for the same lead.
Update #3 – Cleaner API Docs with Module-Specific Examples
API nerds, this one’s for you.
We know our docs were powerful, but not always the easiest to work with. You had to dig around to figure out how to use a specific scraper with the API.
That changes now.
Every module in our docs now has its own Examples section.

That means for each of our 20+ scrapers, you’ll find copy-paste ready code showing:
- How to make requests
- What parameters to pass
- What the response looks like
No more hopping between endpoints or piecing things together.
