Frequently Asked Questions

Is it legal to scrape Glassdoor jobs?

Yes — a job ad posted in public is public data. Everything we collect is what any visitor can open without logging in, so nothing private is ever touched. More in our guide to the legality of web scraping.

Do I need a Glassdoor account?

No login required. No account to sync, no cookie to paste, no Chrome extension to install. Which also means you have no account sitting there waiting to get banned — paste a search and go.

What data do I get for each job?

65 data points per job. Title, apply link, posting date, exact location, employment type, seniority, education, experience and skills, the full description — plus the hiring company's size, revenue, industry, CEO and every rating it has.

How fast is it?

About 750 jobs a minute. Ask for the full job details as well — description, skills, the whole company profile — and it settles around 55 jobs a minute, which still puts a 100-job search to bed before your coffee cools.

Where do the jobs end up once they are scraped?

Wherever you already work. Google Sheets, Make, n8n, Amazon S3, email, webhooks — plus our MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can launch a run and read the results itself. CSV, Excel and JSON too. See all integrations.

Can I filter which jobs get collected?

Yes — and the jobs you filter out cost you nothing. Location and radius, date posted, job type, seniority, remote only, easy apply, salary band, company rating, company size, industry and job function. You pay for the jobs you keep.

Do I get the salary for each job?

Yes, and it arrives in separate fields. Minimum, median and maximum pay, the currency, and whether the figure is annual or hourly — plus a flag telling you if it came from the employer or from Glassdoor's own estimate.

Do I get the company's Glassdoor ratings?

Yes, the entire scorecard. Overall, work-life balance, compensation, management, culture, career opportunities and benefits, plus CEO approval, the recommend-to-a-friend rate and the review counts behind all of them.

Can I collect only the jobs posted recently?

Yes — set a Newer Than threshold. Give it 24h, 7d, 2w or an absolute date in your own timezone and anything older is skipped. Re-run the same search each morning and you only pay for what appeared overnight.

How many jobs can I pull from a single search?

About 900 — that ceiling is Glassdoor's, not ours. It will cheerfully claim thousands of results and then stop serving them. Split the search by location, job type or salary band and run the pieces side by side to go deeper.
