- Each scraper has its price in credits per unique result (duplicates are free): 1 credit on 69 of 79 scrapers, from 0.1 to 20 on the others. Options you switch on (emails, phone numbers, details) add credits per result. One balance for every scraper; API calls cost nothing.

Credits
What is a credit?
A credit is super simple: 1 credit = 1 unique result. You’ll never pay for duplicates, only for the data that matters. Want the full breakdown of how different scrapers and extra data are priced? Just check out our pricing simulator and see exactly what you’ll get.
How many credits does a scraper cost?
Each scraper has its price per result, in credits, on its page in the store and in the simulator; options you switch on add credits per result. Every price is also in pricing.md, for you or your AI agent.
Do credits roll over if I don’t use them?
Not yet! Your credits refresh every month based on the plan you’re on, so you always start fresh. And if you ever need more, it’s super easy to upgrade or grab some add-ons to keep the data flowing.
What if I run out of credits?
You choose, per squid: pause and pick up where it stopped, or end the run. To keep going, upgrade, or reset your billing cycle from your billing settings: your plan renews right away and your credits come back. Auto Billing Reset does it for you when your usage crosses a threshold you set.
Do I pay for a run that fails?
You pay for the results a run brings back, nothing else: a run that ends before its first result costs nothing. If a charge looks wrong, write to contact@lobstr.io and we will look.
Do API calls cost credits?
No. Credits pay for results, not for requests: listing scrapers, creating squids, adding tasks and reading results cost nothing.
Plans
What is included in my free plan?
You’ll get access to most scrapers, essential features, and real data right away... no strings attached. There are a few limits though: exports are capped at 30 rows per request, scheduling isn’t available, and scrapers marked Premium are unlocked only on paid plans. But hey, it’s still packed with enough power to give you a real feel for what lobstr.io can do!
Which scrapers need a paid plan?
The ones tagged Paid plans in the store (8 today). Every other scraper runs on the free plan.
What is a squid?
A Squid is a scraper or an automation which browses the web on your behalf.
The number of Squids you can launch at the same time depends on the plan you have subscribed.
How long are my results kept?
When we collect data for you, the data in question is stored on our servers.
After a certain period of time, for reasons of economic efficiency and legal compliance with the GDPR, all data is completely deleted.
The retention days are the days that the data is kept on our servers.
The retention period depends on the plan you have subscribed. 7 days with the free plan, and up to 28 days with the advanced plans.
Is my business too small for lobstr.io?
We've structured our pricing so that lobstr.io can become a no-brainer investment for companies of all sizes.

Billing
Can I cancel, upgrade, downgrade anytime?
Yes! You can manage your plan anytime right from your billing settings.
Cancellations and downgrades take effect at the end of your current cycle, while upgrades kick in instantly.
The best part is that upgrades are prorated. If you still have unused credits from your current plan, we’ll credit that value toward your new plan so you only pay the difference. Quick, easy, and completely hassle-free.

Is there a yearly discount?
Yes: paying yearly takes 20% off every plan, billed once a year.
Can I get a refund?
A monthly plan: within 10 days of the charge, if no credit was used in that period. A yearly plan: within 30 days, in full if no credit was used, otherwise minus one month. Cancel from your billing page, then write to contact@lobstr.io. The details are in the terms of use.
How do I pay, and is VAT included?
By card, through Stripe, from the app. Prices are in US dollars, before VAT; VAT may apply if you are based in Europe.
